With December fast approaching, and Christmas just around the corner, we thought now would be the perfect time to take a look at what’s coming up in the area over the festive season.

Honley and Holmfirth Christmas elf trail
Running from 1st November – 31st December, this Christmas trail is back for the third year in a row. Merrily wander around the shops and small businesses of Holmfirth and Honley and try to spot the mischievous elves hiding in the windows.
All proceeds go to The Full Life Church Food Bank and the Holme Valley Foodbank Volunteers and children receive a small prize simply for taking part. Wrap up warm and enjoy some festive fun while supporting local businesses.
Holmbridge rural Christmas fair
Taking place on Saturday 20th November from 10am — in St David’s Church Hall in Holmfirth — this festive event showcases quality products from local businesses, artisans, and craftspeople.
Browse gifts, cards, decorations, and culinary treats and maybe even pick up some unique Christmas gifts for your loved ones.
Holmfirth Christmas Celebration
Enjoy an afternoon of festive cheer and seasonal delights as Holmfirth is illuminated in all its glory on Saturday 27th November.
With guest appearances from Honley Brass Band, Valley Beats Percussion, tinsel tractors, and a festive lantern display, it’s set to be a date to remember!
Totties garden centre Winter Wonderland
Explore a winter wonderland and experience the magical displays, animated characters, and festive decorations at the famous Totties.
From the end of November, the garden centre will also be stocking a selection of Nordmann fir and spruce, so you can take home your own fabulously fragrant Christmas tree.
Finally, if you’re on the lookout for some unique gifts, why not visit some of the quirky shops in the centre of Holmfirth, such The Gift Horse.
