What you’ll do
As lettings advisor, you’ll play a pivotal role within the Lettings team and operations. You will own the management of properties for let and those already existing and under our management.
You’ll own the relationship with our landlords
You’ll hand-hold our landlords throughout the letting process, building trust and offering advice and recommendations. You’ll ensure that landlords are regularly updated on progress and provide constructive viewing feedback.
You’ll manage our rental properties
From beginning to end, you’ll be accountable and responsible for our letting process. You’ll arrange viewings, deal with internet enquiries, conduct property visits, manage maintenance and support the Valuers.
You’ll handle applications, follow up lets, and keep both landlord and applicants updated throughout the let process.
You’ll work with potential applicants
You’ll provide a professional service to everyone we work with and ensure that all viewing applicants are updated on their viewing status. You will undertake pre tenancy qualifications on applicants and update them on the status of their application before creating full tenancy pack documentation for all parties to sign.
You’ll negotiate
You’ll negotiate applications made on properties, ensuring the best price and applicant is always obtained for the landlord.
You’ll love our processes
You’ll follow our tried and tested in-house policies and procedures with attention to detail and consistency, to make sure we uphold our high levels of service, in particular throughout the tenancy pack creation process where multiple legal documents must be completed with accuracy.
You’ll help grow our business
We work as one team, growing our business together. You’ll help to upsell our services where possible.

All our team members are responsible for ensuring that high levels of customer service are met when dealing with any persons in contact with Applegate Properties and that we continue to build our excellent reputation.

Your qualifications
• Educated to GCSE standard, or equivalent in English and Maths, Grade C or above
• Computer literacy, the ability to use new software packages with training and an understanding of Microsoft Outlook and Word.
• Hold a full UK driving license and have access to their own vehicle for business use on occasions for which an allowance is paid.
• Strong English and grammatical skills.
• High attention to detail in a busy office environment
• Proven ability to multi task and prioritise work
